Positive and Negative are both available in every given moment. As we experience circumstances in our lives, we make assessments of positive or negative based on the lens we are viewing the circumstance through. Our lens has been shaped and developed based on what we learned from other humans and our life experiences.
Be aware that NO MATTER what happened, positive and negative were both present in the moment you made your assessment through your lens. Making a negative assessment of something will never benefit you and it will never produce a positive return.
I am convinced that there is a next level of positivity for you no matter how positive or negative you have been. I also believe that it is possible to re-shape your lens to be able to see the positive more often than you do today. This process is referred to as neuroplasticity or rewiring your brain. All of the behaviors we demonstrate are the result of repetition. Your behaviors are not hard wired to you; you have developed them by practicing them over and over again.
It is possible to purposefully create new behaviors and reshape your lens to create greater successes in every area of your life.
Congratulations for taking the “I am Positive Challenge”. When you complete the challenge you will see the benefit of being more positive.
Once you begin the challenge, you must participate for 21 days straight. My coaching to you is to make a commitment to yourself to complete the process every day for 21 days so that you receive the optimal benefits of this challenge. I also recommend that you get yourself an Accountability Partner. The best time to complete this process is first thing in the morning, it will positively affect your entire day.
Here is your daily focus for 21 days:
Go to the I am Positive Challenge webpage to electronically journal your progress. Making a commitment to write down this information for the next 21 days gives you an opportunity to build a positive relationship with yourself, by keeping your promise to yourself to do this. It will also provide a record of your success.
Write 3 things you are grateful for today and why. When you focus on what’s going right and the positive things that you are experiencing, you will find that more of the same will show up for you daily. Whenever you deem something important, you will likely be surprised of how much it will continually show up in your life. Focus on selecting 3 new things every day.
A minimum of 20 minutes of some kind of physical exercise daily. Research conducted at UCLA demonstrated that exercise increased growth factors in the brain, making it easier for the brain to grow new neuronal connections.
5-10 minutes meditating on the positive things you will do today will allow you to set your course for the day. Daily meditating on the positive things you will do will bring a sense of calm, clear, laser focus to start your day.
Catch at least 1 person doing something "right" and tell them what you observed. There are so many benefits to focusing on what is going “right” in your world that will help to reshape your lens and help you become more positive.
When you successfully complete this 21 day I am Positive Challenge, your life will potentially be transformed forever.

Grateful: 1. Family & time on the boat 2. Beautiful weather 3. Seeing an eagle fly in his natural environment, manta rays migrating, and hummingbirds feeding.
Today was a positive family outing on the boat. There was no bickering or fussing. Father/son football game on the beach. Cold water! Ballet dancing, gymnastic moves in the sand. Ended the day with social distancing with friends at their dock. It was just the break we needed from work / homeschooling and home improvement projects.

What a day! Up by 2 am heading home to see my family from Disney. It truly is the happiest place on earth! I have spent the last few days in the parks experiencing it all with my mom. Her first time to go. Seeing her excitement and smiles was amazing. I’m so ready to hug Lane and Reece and get back to the little things in life. After the first flight mom actually got sick and fell, it scared me to death. I immediately went into mom mode and got the situation under control, the paramedics on the way, and back on her feet and on a plane quickly. I was extremely proud of myself for remaining calm and handling things so quickly and smoothly. Grateful for the training I received at DL to get me through.

This morning I pulled out an old journal and turned to the first empty page to renew my commitment to positivity. I looked back at the last few pages and had to smile when I realized they were full of statements of gratitude. It was my first encouragement of the day and the first of many smiles I shared with the people I saw today. I knew the day would be busy with taking my mom to doctors appointments and chemotherapy and I spent time focused on how grateful I am to be here with her, how courageous she is in the face of her illnesses and the fun we have with each other.
After coffee and a protein packed breakfast to keep us going, I stopped for 15 minutes of meditating on gratitude and was thankful I did. :-) I actually use an app I love called 10% Happier. Then it was loading up for the 45 minute drive to follow up with her family practice doctor after her hospitalization last week. There were so many people doing good at the regional clinic, I tried to thank them all. Then an hour back to the cancer center for a PET scan result (her cancer has spread significantly) and a discussion on a new course of treatment. They are so kind and I honestly only saw one person not being good! I smiled and thanked her, too. My mom inspires my smile because I often feel it’s the only thing I can do to encourage her and she won’t accept negativity, no time for it.
We sang carols all the way home, quite a feat for her, as she’s currently plagued with Bell’s palsy on top of everything. Singing together is celebrating life, so we sing.
I squeezed in my 20 minutes of exercise and even though I did my stretching, I’m certain being thankful for my aches will be my first thought in the morning!! Not over!!

The three things I am grateful for today are as follows:
Co-workers - I have co-workers who enjoy being on my team. This makes project work fun and productive.
Controlling my temper - I have been working on this for some time. I see I am not getting out of control when things are not going my way.
Commitment - I kept my promise to attend an event tonight even though the weather was horrible.

I am grateful for the positive experiences I have begun to receive in my personal and professional life. I am grateful for Mike Anderson whom lead me to Mike Jones and Discover Leadership. I am grateful for the changes of my approach to all situations in my life. I am grateful to all my employees that saw, even when I could not that I am their leader. 1)My family: My mom is the source of unlimited, unconditional love. She is always there for me and always has been. Daddy, Dewey, & Tommy are not here on Earth now, but I still treasure their memories and want to see them again. Lori & Leon and their families & Dewey’s family are the threads that keep me grounded to family.
2)My aunts & uncles: having so many aunts resulted in an appreciation of large families and how they pull together.
3)Having had a Grandma. I treasure her memory and am grateful I got to have her for almost 30 years. She is a major reason I have an appreciation for “the way things used to be†as far as simple living and family. I never got to meet my other grandparents.

I am grateful for the relationship I have with Jesus Christ and all of the things he does for me every minute of my life.
I am eternally grateful to my wife who has stood by my side through thick and thin and whom I love so dearly.

Three things I am grateful for: 1) My daughter. She challenges me every day. I am finding more and more ways to connect with her in a positive way. She doesn't always agree they are positive interactions, but someday she will realize it was all for the best! 2) The love of my life. He has my back throughout each day. When he sees me struggling, he comes to me with solutions. He is amazing. 3) God. Through Him, I am becoming stronger every day. I am learning to give up the control and enjoy the journey He has in store for me.
Last night I walked for 22 minutes (that's how long the workout video was). This morning I thought about the awesome day I will have at work and the great evening I am going to have tonight with my family.

My 3 things i am grateful for
#1 My Wife is amazing. She supports me in every way. She is easy going and trusting. She allows me to be me and has been supportive of my journey through my awakening
#2 My Son. He is a great kid and is very intelligent. He does great in school and has a very positive attitude. Now that i am better he is also better.
#3 My Savior, Jesus Christ. Everything i have is because of Him and the blessings he has provided to me. He has put me in the right place at the right time for ME to take action and become who i need to be to feel fear and take action. I am who I am because of Him but i take action because of ME!
Doing things right.
My Son Braylon, We were at a thanksgiving and he spent time with the toddler girl and the teenage girl getting to know them and talking to both of them. He is a social kid and he is positive. I praised him for this in front of our family.
I went on a 30 minute walk/run around the small town where my inlaws live.

I hit the snooze button this morning but I didn’t go back to sleep. Instead I took that time to be grateful for the day ahead. As expected, I was thankful for the aches -they reminded me of yesterday’s success. I was also thankful for the massage scheduled this afternoon because I knew it would push me to workout again. The cold came in the night and I was thankful for the sunshine that lifted my spirits. My favorite person I caught being good was the little girl waiting in the post office with her mother, she was so patient and shy but polite and obedient. I told her how I appreciated her behaving so well and she grinned. I did, too! And oh, my gosh! Those post office people were amazing - I couldn’t thank them enough for going over and above for those busy (unprepared) people in line- they loaned scissors, tape, markers, even pennies back and forth to be sure everyone could get their packages mailed today.
22 minutes on my fit board and I’m positively happy to be headed for bed! Not over!

Very good day today. Its a great day to be alive. Got my week off to a great start today by coaching a new customer to the next level of excellence. Explained FOTO to them and where that came from. When you focus on what you can control, then the things you cant control lose their urgency.
I am so grateful for such a supportive wife works hard behind the line taking care of the home and grandbabies. She does so much with very little recognition. She worked this weekend on getting the Christmas decorations up and took off this morning to take care of a sick child so that mama can go to work tomorrow.
Got home this afternoon to find a gift box from my employer that included gifts, candy and cash! What a great group to work with. So grateful.
Got to spend almost an hour today reflecting on the weekend and meditating on the sermon from church yesterday. You cant replace Jesus with anything that lasts. SO true and applies to society today.
Finishing the day today with a fast paced walk with the dog. and a quiet evening to look around and see all the blessings in my life.

Blessed that I am able to spend the day with my kids, nephew and husband tailgating and enjoying a great NCAA Football game, i cherish this time together and enjoying the things we love. 3.) Today was an awesome day! Got to spent time with my 4 grandsons. I am so grateful for them. I am grateful for my church family and the effort they put forth making everyone feel so welcome.
I am grateful for the position I have in the Industry that I work.
As I get my thoughts and materials ready for the upcoming week I am reminded that preparation is the key to success. How you end is a direct result of how you begin.
When watching my grandsons today in church the words “ What you be, they will become†we’re ringing in my head. All four, ages 4,6,6&8 have memorized the Lord’s Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. The conversations we have about living responsibly, being positive and respectful seems to be paying off.
We are practicing adult language with our grandkids. Love. Respect. Honesty. Integrity. Responsibility. Give. Dependable. Some of these things are not being taught in school.
So blessed.

Today I am grateful for my mom. Her and I have had issues, but honestly since I've become an adult we have a good relationship. I didn't realize that until I started viewing her from where she is and not where I want her to be. I am very fortunate to have her still. I am also grateful for my freedom which allows me to be me and know that others will be themselves. I am not responsible for them or their feelings and this gives me a relief from things I never have to carry. The third thing I am grateful for is my job. This is not something I would have said in the past. My job gives me opportunities to be better and help others better themselves. It also gives me opportunities to improve my workplace and the moral. Yay for today!

1. football. although my football teams(jayhawks & detroit lions) are terrible it is a great bonding time with my wife and her family. My wife loves college football and she has influenced me to get into it. I enjoy watching football with her and her family.
2. basketball. my son loves playing basketball for his middle school team. my basketball teams are much better than football (jayhawks & OKC Thunder) my wife still likes the OSU cowboys but its ok because KU normally makes up for the poor football season.
3. wrestling. this is the sport i excelled at and i am hopeful that my son will get into it and have success this spring. we are going to watch the OSU wrestling team this friday night. Ive never been to a Div 1 wrestling dual. it will be a great time and my son will get some of the excitement on him.
i caught my son doing multiple things right yesterday. he was sick and "trusted" the wrong fart in church. he stuck through it and even though he smelled and felt terrible still volunteered to help serve. He also came home and cleaned his room and vacuumed it. he has responded very well to my focus on the positive vs. the old "critical" way i used to communicate with him.
until now i would take it easy on my sunday workout and this time i hit my 20 minutes vs. my 8b48 of 15.

It’s a great day to be alive! Today I’m grateful that momma is stable enough to leave so that I can sit at the hospital with my sister while her husband is in surgery. I’m always grateful that she and I have each other to lean on, it more than halves the load! I’m again grateful for the sunny day because it's been perfect for walking the paths around the hospital and getting my brisk walking done with joy. A hospital is a great place to smile at people and I’m working my cheeks and putting loving-kindness into each smile. I won’t ever know for sure, but I believe they will cause ripples of positivity where it’s most needed. The toothless old fella who smiled back and told me I’m lookin’ good sure gave it back to me!! The brightest doing-gooders so far are the cashier and the server in the cafeteria. They took time to connect w my sister and me to be sure we left them with everyone smiling 🤗

This is really my 3rd day, but only the first day my link to this diary has actually taken me to this page, so if you see Day 1 and Day 2 with the same date it’s because I started my journey on Notepad and am transferring the info. 1)I am grateful for each sunrise. In addition to the beauty that emerges as the light envelopes the landscape, it is proof that God has given me another day on this Earth. I have been given another opportunity to make a positive difference.
2)I am grateful for sunsets. What a blessing it is to see God’s artwork taking shape in front of your eyes. It is ever changing. At the end of the day, it is just one more reassurance that the greatest Artist is always with us.
3). I am grateful for my health. I don’t take for granted that I can physically do a lot of things others may not be able to do. I love being active. I am grateful I can ride and care for my horses. Being healthy is truly a blessing

Grateful: Ability to work; Progress; opportunity
Amazing how the time span of three days can seem so long in the quarantine. I chose to begin the project of painting the garage. We now have lots of projects begun. Finishing is our goal and the example we will set for our children. Clean fresh paint does so much for the mindset of coming in to a house. A way to calm the chaos for me.

I’m cracking myself up today because I start my day writing my gratitudes in my journal and then blog later in the day and now I have so many things to be thankful for I can’t remember what I wrote this morning! 🤣 I am thankful for the company we had today that lifted momma’s spirits, I’m thankful that the line was short at the post office (for obvious reasons!) and I’m grateful for the good weather because the tree guys came and cut down the dead tree. I caught the waste disposal men doing good- they picked up stuff that was littering the street and my uncle bought a gift for someone who didn’t expect it. I got my exercise in on the dance floor today- way more than 20 minutes!! Another great day to be alive in LA ( Lower Alabama!) 😂😂 Not over!!

Day 4 Began today in meditation. The wife stayed with the sick grandbaby and I had the morning to myself. Looking at the Christmas tree she put up, the decorations shes been putting up all reminds me of how lucky I am and how much I love her. I am so grateful for all of my children and my grandchildren. All healthy and relatively normal. HaHaHa!
The business I am consulting with told me today that I have made a huge impact on everyone I have spent time with and that they are extremely satisfied. Its funny because all I do is show them the truth and give them processes to follow that allows them to focus on the outcome; worry only about whats in their circle of influence instead of whats in their circle of concern.
I am so grateful for my relationship with God. There is so much to be learned and applied from the lessons in the bible. The Bible is as relevant today as it has been for 2000 years.
This morning's walk was all about committing to being the very best "me" I can possibly be today. Putting yesterday where it belongs and welcoming today like a Rookie.

1)Today I am thankful for the ability to create and perform music. Not only does it provide me with endless hours of enjoyment, it is something I can share with others and hopefully create a connection with the listener. It is truly the international language.
2)I am thankful for quiet, misty mornings. They allow me to look at my surroundings in a more contemplative light and recognize that beauty isn’t strictly limited to sunlight.
3)I am thankful for friends that support & accept me for who I am and encourage me to be the best version of me possible.

Grateful: Calm waters; family boat plans; reconnecting with old friends
Friends are good for the soul, especially those that you can pick up with over time as if none had passed at all. We positively had the best afternoon, exploring a new beach, taking puppies with us to boat and swim, and interacting as a family. These are the days I hope we will all remember, and that the harder ones will pass on like water under the pier, having served their purpose and taught their lesson.

Today I’m grateful that momma listened to my meditation with me because I think it helps her get centered, too. I’m thankful my sister’s husband is recovering well from his surgery and she is feeling less stressed. I’m also thankful for my decision to be positive in the face of so much negativity rolling around on FB because I’m happier for not getting drawn in to the thoughtless posts. We meditated on change today, focusing on the truth that nothing stays the same, which reminds me that a positive attitude can change the frame I see things through. Twenty minutes of yoga to stretch the muscles I used dancing last night and lots of laundry to keep me moving! Not over!

Day 5. Another great day to be alive! Walked in the rain this morning and thought about how awesome it is to be able to get out in the world and and feel so great. I am so grateful for my health and the example it gives my family.

I’m thankful that momma’s feeling better today because I want her to feel as good as she can for as long as possible. I caught the tree cutter being good, he came back and raked the yard. I’m thankful for family who show up because they’re needed. I stopped by the mall (I know!) and mall walked for 20 minutes and then caught someone (Erika, the cashier) doing such a good- she locked her register and took me to find handkerchiefs, then took me back and rang me up then thanked ME for using her name! Day 7 41 degrees and raining.
It’s a great day to be alive! The main focus in my day is to start out being grateful to be given the chance to influence.
I am grateful for the information I have learned in recent years to better my listening skills and being aware of the immediate impact it has on others. Listening to be influenced instead of listening to be being heard Makes anyone I’m communicating with feel important. Especially my wife and family.
Not wanting to walk in the cold rain I’ll be going to the gym.
I am again reminded of how precious and short life is and how grateful I am for my health. A good friend lost his wife to the long term effects of MS. What a dreadful condition. I can remember the last time I saw her and remember how positive she was.
That’s inspiration.
Thanks

1)I am grateful for periods of silence. Sometimes the loudest “noise†is inside your own head. Sitting quietly and listening to all that is around you is good for the soul. Finding the music in all that surrounds you is very important to me.
2)I am grateful that I have a choice of foods to eat. Eating healthy foods directly affects my entire being. By always having a choice, I know that if I feel bad due to eating unwisely, it’s my own fault!
3)I am grateful for a warm home this morning. It’s cold out, but I know that I have a warm place waiting should I venture out.

I woke up thankful for Christmas Eve morning. Something about this day of anticipation makes it one of my favorite days. I’m thankful that what I anticipate is seeing family and friends not getting more stuff I don’t need. I’m thankful I got mosquito nets for a family in South Africa for my present from my daughter. I hope it allows another mother the chance to watch her children grow up without malaria. That’s definitely doing something right! I enjoyed my walk in the sun so much I kept going for an extra mile and I’m thankful for that, too. 1)Today I am grateful for my ability to help others. I’m not talking about buying someone a car (wish I could!) or paying off a school loan, but instead, tipping more than the norm, providing physical assistance to someone needing a hand, doing what I can where I can. I would love to be like Oprah or Ellen and “gift†all these huge amounts of money to help struggling people, but I try to give what I can and help where I can. Sometimes, it has a comparable impact...other times not, but always done in the same spirit.
2)I am grateful for smiles. I made a conscious effort yesterday to see how contagious my smile could be. It was an awesome feeling to have it returned to me every.single.time! Not that my smile is any more important than the next person’s, but the fact that I actually did it made me feel good. I can make a difference! And I didn’t see that many smiles as I made my way through bustling stores. Until I shared one. I will work on doing this regularly. Cheap thrills hahaha!
3)I am grateful for the kindness of strangers. Went to town yesterday to pick up a couple of Christmas gifts and left my phone home. Oh how we depend on technology for so many things in our lives! I had no list. No phone numbers. No phone! No addresses or store names. I felt LOST. I walked into Panera Bread and spied a young lady on her phone and asked her to please Google an address for me, which she kindly did. I felt so awkward, but she laughed and did it for me.

1)I am grateful the technology that allows us to communicate quickly, both aural and visual. My family is pretty spread out location-wise across the eastern US and I don’t get to see them in person as much as I’d like. It’s often difficult to keep up with those living within visiting distance, but thanks to FaceTime, Portal, Skype, etc. and phone, messaging and other apps, we are in touch. It isn’t the same as F2F interaction, but better than no communication at all.
2)I am grateful for cousins. I have no cousins my age. Most are much older and a couple are much younger. I lost one of the older cousins last weekend and realize another direct connection to my aunts and uncles is gone. Things change. Honor his memory. Appreciate the ones still here.
3)I am grateful for my Church. I grew up in this town and have very fond memories of MYF, Bible School, memorizing lines for programs, being scared to stand up in front of the congregation and recite my piece. It has dwindled in membership in years past due to the elders dying out and no new families coming in. That is changing and I am grateful to see the changes that are happening with the influx of young people. Pretty inspiring and gives me hope for the future.

Today, I am grateful for good health. I am trying not to take it for granted, but it's obvious I do because I fill up my calendar to the max with what I plan to do. I'm so glad for hope and the many ways people offer it. Self development podcasts offer me a lot of hope by helping me see more what I can become and how to get there. Scripture does the same for me. I have SO much available to become my best self! I am also thankful for the spirit of giving in so many people I'm close to. The Toys for Tots box in my office at work is overflowing. : )

I got wrapped up in a whirlwind Sunday, so I failed to post, but did gather my thoughts. Here they are:
1)I am grateful for the opportunity to share my musical gifts/talents with my church family. I was asked to accompany the service yesterday and had to ad lib a couple of unexpected segments of the service. Glad I could do it.
2)I am grateful for Sunday dinners. Sunday dinner is my Mom’s time to shine. She is an amazing cook and has provided countless delicious meals in her 66 years of having for 5 children /numerous grandchildren sit at her kitchen table. She’s now 88 and shares her home with my sister and her family, so between sharing the kitchen and not being physically able to stand and cook, Sunday is the day she most looks forward to...her Sunday dinner. And it’s a meal I am grateful for each weak...dinner with my Mom.
3)I am grateful for circumstances that allow me to give gifts to loved ones. I worked hard and tried to be smart with my earnings. This has, thus far, allowed me to purchase gifts, make gifts, give my time, and share things with those around me. I remember the days of just getting by. Stressful times. I am grateful for this sense of having enough.

1. My Grandma Pat. She is tough and positive and still making it happen at 85 years old. Nothing is holding her back
2. My dream machine. 98 Buick century that I bought for $400. Got me to Houston for DLT training and gets me to pursuit of my dreams of owning my own shop 2 hours away from my home.
3. If I need cash I have my retirement savings. I will win and I will fail. I will pick myself up. Dust myself off and get back in the game. “Not Overâ€

Today I am thankful for God watching over me. He made my travel to Seattle easy. I’m grateful for the couple seated beside me who didn’t encroach on my space because I like the aisle but it was taken. I’m so thankful for my son’s parenting skills because he’s the best dad I could ask for my 2&4 year old grandkids.
I got my exercise in early today at the airport so I climbed aboard the plane already feeling good about my day. So many people did right today, handling big crowds with grace and good cheer and I remembered to smile and thank each one. I felt good because they showed appreciation for my thanks. It was truly reciprocal and even my lost luggage didn’t dampen my spirits! I didn’t meditate today, I just watched in wonder at the beauty of the sun and clouds out the window and sent up prayers of thanks for being able to share the majesty! Not over!

The choice to be a game changer was made early in the day knowing that I had 86,400 seconds for the world to conspire for my success. Today, I am thankful for law enforcement who keep us safe. I was stopped and given a warning this morning while it was still dark for tint being too dark on my windows. While slightly irritating, it's a reminder that those traffic stops are one of their key tools in catching drug offenders. Work family has seen death of a parent yesterday. I am grateful to still have my mom and step-dad to love. I am thankful for life experiences which remind us of the most important things - life, love, family.

What a great day. We all get the same 86,400 seconds of everyday. I ask a gentleman at the gym this morning a question. Ok so we as humans are all different. So tell me what 1 thing in this world we all have the same amount of everyday? Answer: inner spirit. Replied to him 86,400 seconds everyday. What are you going to do with your 86,400?I am committed to living full out. Please join me.

1)I am grateful for retirement. I really never thought I’d see the day I could retire, but I am here and am going to make the most of each day I am given. I view retirement as “opportunityâ€. Opportunities for personal growth, helping others, and making more time for relationships that often got overlooked due to focus on career are very important to me.
2)I am grateful for the opportunity to gather with family Wednesday night at a very special gathering. Nieces and nephews from far away will be in attendance, so I’m looking forward to that. I don’t get to see them often.
3)I am grateful for my husband, who continually and consistently amazes me with his attention to ME. He is very attuned to little things I say or do. When birthday or Christmas roll around, I am ALWAYS blown away because of the truly special, personal, and thoughtful gift he has chosen. Never fails to amaze me. The gifts itself are just amazing, but so is the fact that he thought that much of me select such special things...it’s priceless. I am grateful for him!

The first thing I’m grateful for today is my daughter in law. She is so much better at mothering that I was and her children are growing up w a much better understanding of their feelings and how to experience them than mine did at a young age. I’m thankful for the great bed in the guestroom that I fall into so tired from a day with preschoolers. I’m thankful for the ‘I am positive’ wristband I’ve been wearing through this challenge because seeing and feeling it reminds me to be aware of the positivity I have a chance to share. My meditation today was about the ever-changing nature of my body and how to be more understanding of it, something I’ve been having trouble reconciling lately. A walk to the park and pushing swings and playing with (chasing) the soccer ball in the fresh air was much easier than it would’ve been two weeks ago because I’ve been exercising every day! The neighbor who gave us tissues for runny noses on our walk home got big smiles and lots of thanks from this Nana who didn’t have to use her T-shirt for the emergency! Another great day to be alive! Not over!

1)Today I am grateful for a good friend who is always supportive, encouraging, and inspiring. We’ve been friends for 52 years. We’ve seen each other at our highest high and our lowest low and our friendship has endured. She inspires me to be a better person.
2)I am grateful for the opportunity to see the creative genius of artistic masters. I made my first trip to the local art gallery and was quite impressed with the quality and quantity of beautiful and interesting pieces. I am also grateful that the young school groups in attendance are being exposed to this important cultural display. So thankful this opportunity is available.
3)I am grateful for my own creativity. To be able to create music or song from nothing but a thought or feeling is pretty powerful stuff. I love being able to do that. It’s my own way of painting a picture or telling a story.

Got caught up in birthday/Christmas festivities yesterday and missed both my post and exercise. However, I always find things to be grateful for whether I’m participating in this 21 Challenge or not. Here are 3 from yesterday:
1)I am grateful for relatives who live far away that take the time, make the effort, and show up to show love for special events. It’s not always possible for everyone, but I’m grateful for those that can gather.
2)I am grateful for patience. I haven’t always been a patient person and I have worked hard to do better at this. I can tell a big, positive difference in my own happiness as well as those around me (both human & equine). This includes being grateful for those who have been patient with me.
3)I am grateful for my sister, whose birthday is today. She is truly a blessing and a friend and I’m so thankful to know her.

3. My past experience. I am exactly where I am supposed to be because I have grown and developed over the last 20 years. Now with the DLT training I will take it to another level.

Phil Pearson quit today and it was a great thing. Ion not sure we would have worked well together and I trying to work with him was an attempt to stay in my personal time comfort zone.
Flexibility with my wife. I was planning to come home on Wednesday night and instead needed to stay island work on Thursday. She completely understood and it was a great decision

I’m grateful for the ability to know when to walk away. For many years I was friends with people that did support who I was. Today I have room in my life for real friends that love and support my family. Having faith to Walk away from people was liberating!

I’m so grateful to see my mom getting some strength back. We talked for a while tonight about her favorite Christmas memories as I took down the tree and I loved hearing them. I’m thankful I could. I’m thankful for the beautiful day for being outdoors and walking. I’m going to meditate on the positive beginning for tomorrow and wake up knowing my plan for the day starts with thank you. Not over!

1)I am grateful for access to roadside assistance today. Stranded 2 hours from home, beside the road with 2 horses and 2 dogs. But am able to call for help and am near a town.
2)I am grateful that a minor event happened that made us pull over before the right front brake locked up. We would have been traveling top speed had that not happened.
3)I am grateful our animals travel well. God has this. We just have to be patient and do our part.

When I started the 21 day challenge I was a bit overwhelmed. I was practicing my DL knowledge, I just wasn’t on purpose. After day 20, I will say I am back on track. I am meditating, exercising, and giving to myself daily. Something that had slipped through the cracks previously. I am calmer and more focused on activities. Being on purpose gives my days the boost they needed!

I’m grateful for the faith that sustains me and that I share it with my mom. I’m thankful that tomorrow her new treatment will start and I’m positive she will feel better. I’m grateful that however she feels I’m with her. The weather was perfect again for a quick walk to appreciate the new buds on the confederate rose that will bloom in the summer. How amazing that there is always the promise of beauty from this world. I hope my positivity is touching some one and causing them to appreciate beauty, too. Not over!

It is easy to take things for granted until we don't have them. Toilet paper is an example of this! I am thankful for toilet paper, electricity, hot running water for the ease and convenience they give. Now what am I doing with that time I'm not spending hauling water and chopping wood?!

I’m thankful for the time I’ve spent thinking about being thankful. I’m thankful that today is day 21 of not smoking. I’m thankful that my mom is resting after a really tough day. My sister surprised me by being with us through it and I’m sure I didn’t thank her enough. The first thing on my list for tomorrow is thanking her again. Got my exercise lifting and walking and pushing mom’s wheelchair today. Will sleep after I meditate on the blessing being grateful is and how it’s helping me focus on the good. Not over!!

I lost my cross from my chain. I looked for it in every place I could i think of. No cross. However, I felt it would turn up. It turned up and I am grateful. Being positive has helped me to look at things different and be positive in advice to others. I am grateful for these 21 days. It has taken everything that I have to see this through. this is a breakthrough.

I am thankful for new beginnings. They are a time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. I am thankful for how the game changer program has helped me see challenges more as opportunities than I have in the past. Before, challenges seemed more like struggles. Today, I am thankful for others who have influenced me in positive ways. I am thankful for opportunities every day to build others up. The thrill of giving the gift of hope and offering people a shift in their perspective is delightful!

1)I am grateful for the opportunity to enjoy “me†time with my journal this morning. Though every day I stop at some point wherever I am and thank God for His bountiful blessings, I have not had (or made) time to sit alone and write. YES! Today is the day!
2)I am extremely grateful for the spectacular sunrise display I just witnessed on the mountains around me. I’ve never seen the brilliant orange color and patterns on the ridges like this despite being here 3 or 4 years. Mornings are always beautiful, but this morning was exceptional.
3)I am grateful for the encouragement and positivity Discovery Leadership provides daily!

DLT Game Changer Class @ Baldwin Realtors
July 19-20, 2023
Are you tired of everyone playing the blame game when things aren't getting done or when something goes wrong? Are you frustrated with team members who say one thing and do another? Are you wondering why there is never enough time to do it right the first time, but there is always time to do it again? To create a team of Game Changers, you must first create a better you!
Who is a Game Changer?
A Game Changer is the person who positively transforms every relationship and situation by accepting Personal Responsibility for their professional and personal wellness. They purposefully choose to disrupt the status quo and Live in the Chaos by challenging norms and writing new stories stories focused on achieving their positive outcomes.
What is the Game Changer Program?
The Game Changer Program is a two-day course that is focused on creating a better you. It teaches transformational leadership skills which allow individuals to communicate more effectively, accept Personal Responsibility for their choices and actions, and uncover their hidden potential.
Participants will leave the training with specific outcomes that will set them apart from the spectators still sitting on the sidelines.
Benefits:
The Game Changer Program has been conducted coast to coast and is helping businesses improve bottom-line results such as productivity, quality, retention, customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Set an outcome to create a loving, positive relationship with yourself. Get in where you fit in, choose an outcome that works for you.
My outcome for the month of February will be focused on creating a healthier version of myself.
Now it will be important to establish an outcome that is focused on what you want and not an outcome focused on what you don't want.
The outcome should be 100% focused on self improvement.
What I am challenging you to do is to identify and post your outcome for the month of February. The outcome is focused on creating a loving, positive, healthier relationship with yourself.
If you want to ensure greater success, invite someone to join you in this challenge.
My outcome will be focused on my physical health. I will create a leaner, healthier 225 pound Mike Jones.
For the month of February I will eat only fish as my protein.
I will eat lots of veggies and fruit.
I will not consume alcohol.
I will workout 3-5 times per week.
I will hold myself accountable by posting my score daily on a scale of 1-10, 1 would be I did not hit my outcome for the day, 10 would be I nailed it. This is not about perfection, it is about did you love yourself enough to do what you said you would do to develop a loving, positive relationship with yourself. (Example of your post: I am posting a score of 10 for the I Love Myself Challenge for February 1, 2024 “Not Over”)
If whatever you are doing is not challenging you, it will not change you.
Your outcome can be anything that you want it to be, however, it needs to be focused on helping you develop a more loving, positive relationship with yourself.
Examples could be to commit to reading more, spending less time on your devices, enhancing your sleep quality, drinking more water, getting involved in volunteer activities, putting yourself out in more social environments, connect with a friend or family member daily, etc.
A critical point to remember is what gets measured, gets managed. Take note of where you are at right now and where you want to be at the end of February. Remember, small steps, small wins.

Not over!!

My health because I feel strong, energetic and alive. The three things I am grateful for today are as follows: Co-workers - I have co-workers who enjoy being on my team.

Mike Jones has given me the tools to work with the new construction of myself. I am also grateful to myself. I am grateful for the dedication and commitment to engage in this journey. I am grateful for the changes of my approach to all situations in my life. I am grateful to all my employees that saw, even when I could not that I am their leader. I am grateful for the culture change that has taken place in my personal and professional life.

I am on team 231. I was at Running Cougar Ranch almost two years ago. As I start The first day of this challenge I want to display my gratitude to the DLT team for all they do. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t recall something I learned about me that helps me continue to be a better version of myself. I am grateful for the relationship I have with Jesus Christ and all of the things he does for me every minute of my life. I am eternally grateful to my wife who has stood by my side through thick and thin and whom I love so dearly. Looking forward to the next 20 days and being positive in all things. Thanks MIKE!!

I am grateful for our home which we purchased this year. A home that we can call our own with our pup family. I am grateful for our 2 pups because they are always happy to see me and bring so much joy to each day.

I'm grateful that while injured I can still enjoy my active lifestyle, being on time this morning, last night snuggles from my daughter. Meditation is a struggle. I have not completed yet today, but will plan better for it tomorrow.
Mandy Dec. 03, 2019

My 3 things i am grateful for #1 My Wife is amazing. She supports me in every way. She is easy going and trusting. She allows me to be me and has been supportive of my journey through my awakening #2 My Son.
